By launching the new KW Variant 5 coilover suspension, KW focuses on its successful motorsport suspension technology with KW Solid Piston Technology and modular design with damper valves connected in series. The KW Variant 5 assures precise and fast damping without delay in sports cars and super sports cars. The shock absorbers and valves react directly, even with small spring travel, minimal steering movements, and minor road undulations. Every driving maneuver and every input, such as those generated during braking, acceleration, steering, load changes, and undulations, are damped much more precisely. The KW Solid Piston dampers provide much more platform support to the chassis than conventional dampers and thus, depending on the vehicle body allow for lower spring rates to be used.

Setup – factory pre-configured damping setup with separate 4-way damper setting The KW Variant 5 with adjustable KW SPCLH-A (KW Solid Piston Compression Low- and Highspeed Adjustable) compression damping and the KW SPRLH-A (KW Solid Piston Rebound Low- and Highspeed Adjustable) rebound damping offers significant added values: more sensitive damping, cavitation-free function, precise high-frequency damping, low-pressure gas range from 6 to 10 bar and low hysteresis.

KW 2-Way Clubsports are the ideal choice for double-duty street cars, use at HPDE’s(high performance drivers education), time attack or time trials, and club level racing.The Clubsport setup was specially designed on the Nordschleife and the continuous adjustable ride height allows for fine corner weight or making setup changes. The extensive adjustment range of the independently configurable rebound and compression make it easy to directly influence the steering behavior, directional stability, grip and handling characteristics for confident and repeatable results at the limit of driving dynamics.

Track performance proven technology with multiple 24-hour race wins. Using the Nordschleife as the testing grounds and data collected from our KW 7-post Driving Dynamic Test Center, KW developed it’s 3-way Clubsport coilover kit. Wheel loads, vehicle weight and chassis reinforcements (increased body stiffness) can all be taken into consideration with the TVR-A & TVCLH-A valve technology and adjustment capabilities of the 3-way Clubsport. Similar to KW Competition 3-way coilovers, low-speed and high-speed compression adjustment is achieved by utilizing with the controls on the external reservoir.

Specifically Engineered Setup – Vehicle specific with independently adjustable rebound, high and low speed compression. Similar to the KW Competition suspension used in international motorsports, the KW 3-Way Clubsport coilover kit allows fine tuning of the compression damping separately in the low-speed and high-speed range. The click adjustments of the TVCLH-A valve technology make for easy adjustment directly on the reservoir. You can modify the low-speed compression damping with 6 precise clicks with the purple low speed adjustment dial and directly beneath it the golden adjustment wheel provides an additional 14 precise clicks of high speed compression adjustment. In addition, the TVR-A technology provides 16 clicks to noticeably adjust the rebound damping independently of the compression damping. If you would like to adjust the KW 3-Way Clubsport coilover kit it can easily be adjusted for more comfort or to an alternative setup for a new race track. The KW 3-Way Clubsport benefits from the same motorsports technology that has proven its endurance with multiple overall wins at the ADAC Zurich 24h Nürburgring race.
